We cover sowing, planting, weeding, hedge cutting, shredding, mowing, edging, in fact any garden maintenance activity that will enhance the grounds for everyones enjoyment. During the summer months some of the Monday group and others meet on a Tuesday evening primarily for maintenance of the graveyard. Of course we would welcome more help, and if Mondays aren’t convenient to you but you would like to help, please get in touch via Rheann Byrne at the parish office or Fr.Wilfred for more details.

At Olton Friary we have a lively team of gardeners who meet, unless its raining, on a Monday morning, starting time flexible — as is the finishing time, but we usually stop for a coffee break with biscuits and sometimes cake at around 11.00.
